I am greatly inspired by living and working in London, UK with the diverse people and cultures I encounter on a daily basis. And alongside my mixed heritage and global travel it provides me with an abundance of subjects for my work.
In my portraiture work I usually paint from life over a few sittings and am usually happy to travel to sittings and have been working on getting a permanent studio in the future to accommodate visitors for sittings as well. However, the continuing situation with Covid-19 worldwide has challenged us all to work in different ways, and more often remotely. I am working very closely with my clients to be able to provide satisfactory solutions for both parties, resulting in great source material for me to work with in lieu of real life sittings that can maintain my high standards and result in the premium art work that you would usually expect pre-pandemic.
