The six years that followed Lynda Lorraine’s move to London in the late 90s saw her studying MA Fashion under the close mentorship of Louise Wilson OBE at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design. But not until she had successfully completed her BA Fashion Design Technology at London College of Fashion.
Shortly after her successful graduation show with interest from Harrods & Barneys New York in London Fashion Week Lynda worked freelance on several projects, including a small label of her own. The highlights include: working on Matthew Williamson’s second collection ‘Disco Zen’, a season with Tristan Webber for his London Fashion Week collection ‘Tecton Orthotics’, Head Designer for Milla London, the brainchild of former Harrods buyers Caroline Greer & Jo Dugdale for two seasons in 2003 which was stocked globally.
